Children are really enjoying the French that we complete on a Wednesday afternoon so I thought we would base the homework around this...
Children need to research, find out and publish one interesting (hopefully unknown) fact about France! Feel free to post it on this blog or present it on a piece of paper for the wall! The task for week three is to...
Create a mask! Enjoy getting creative!!! Just remember that Monday is Labour Day so enjoy the sleep in!!!
The focus for PB4L in week 3 is to... 'Be positive!' An important thing to think about when training for triathlon! It was Phil's birthday yesterday. All the children of school signed a card for him and he was given a new bike...
I must admit I did think more children would have completed the homework last week.
This week the homework will again be based around the blog. Children have to look through the blog and post a positive comment on one of the blog posts. Ideas... Could you discuss one of your homework tasks? What about a PB4L focus area that you enjoyed? How about a photo that you think is really good? Thanks to Mia, Grace C, Remy, Grace B and Cassidy who presented the PB4L Term PowerPoint at assembly. What a fantastic job you did.
Thanks also to Byron who was able to run the computer. Congrats to Remy who achieved the week 1 award. The focus for week 2 is based under the ENCOURAGEMENT heading... Support others!!! I hope everyone was able to enjoy the holidays!
Term four is just nine weeks long. Children will bring home a newsletter on Monday discussing the term. As you may or may not be aware the senior school will have a focus on triathlon and social dance this term. During the last week there is also a Prizegiving and Leaving Assembly. There will be a variety of social, academic, sporting and cultural awards presented at this assembly. With all this in mind the homework task is to place a comment on this blog post stating a goal or aim for the term. I look forward to reading these. This term we are looking at all settings! That means we have to show HEART everywhere!
The focus for the first week of the term is based around honesty... OWN YOUR OWN BEHAVIOUR!!! |
